Jingle All the Way
Remastered Reissue, Available November 21
Béla Fleck & The Flecktones have reissued their beloved holiday record Jingle All the Way on limited edition vinyl, available November 21.
"I have a habit of pulling out my banjo and playing holiday songs while waiting for flights in the airport, when traveling during the season,” says Fleck. “These arrangements appeared and developed over the course of several years of airport holiday play. They always seemed to cheer up folks, and I love the tunes."
The Flecktones are celebrating the album with a highly-anticipated supergroup tour. Jingle All the Way will marry two classic versions of the band for the first time— Fleck with Howard Levy on piano and harmonica, percussionist / drumitarist Roy “Future Man” Wooten and bassist Victor Wooten, and Jeff Coffin on saxophone, and special guests Alash, the Tuvan throat singing ensemble who appear on the studio record. The music will span the Flecktones wild and beloved catalog, including reinvented holiday classics, performed for the first time in fifteen years.
The 21-city tour kicks off November 26 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, with a stop at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on December 10—the Flecktones’ largest NYC headline show to date—and wraps December 20 in New Orleans at the Joy Theater. Tickets are on sale now. All shows will have the option for a VIP pre-show experience, including an intimate soundcheck performance, Q&A with the band, and exclusive merchandise.
